Debra Vizzi, Lake Hiawatha, NJ— Debra Vizzi (nee Steinmetz) passed away unexpectedly on Friday, December 27, 2024, at her home in Lake Hiawatha, New Jersey. She was 68 years old.
Debra, originally from Jersey City, NJ, spent most of her childhood and adult life in Boonton, NJ, before moving to Lake Hiawatha two years ago. She was a graduate of Boonton High School and married Frank Vizzi in 1987. The couple shared 37 years of marriage before Debra’s sudden passing.
Professionally, Debra worked as a leasing agent for Knoll Gardens Apartments in Lake Hiawatha. She had a diverse career, previously serving as an office manager for Dr. Brynildson’s medical office in Denville, NJ, and working with Atlantic Health and Morristown Memorial Hospital in Morristown, NJ. Earlier in her career, she also worked as a waitress at Harrigan’s Restaurant in Montville, NJ.
Debra is survived by her devoted husband, Frank Vizzi, and their beloved daughter, Melissa M. Vizzi. She is also remembered by her five siblings: James Steinmetz, John Button, Emily Bolcar, Joan Diedrich, and Florence Marcinko.
A fundraising campaign has been established by Pj Adams to assist the Vizzi family during this difficult time. The donations raised will help with funeral and related expenses.
