Dawn served her country with honor in the United States Air Force from 1986 to 1990. She later worked as a CYP Youth Director at the Grand Forks AFB until her retirement. Her dedication to her career and service to others was evident throughout her life. She also devoted 33 years to Federal Civilian Service and was recognized for her accomplishments with numerous awards.
The Thompson family is now facing financial challenges as they work to arrange a fitting tribute for Dawn. A fundraiser has been set up by her niece, Ashley Thompson, to assist with funeral expenses. The goal is to raise $5,500 to cover the costs.
