David Kuiken, Clovis, CA— David Kuiken has passed away after a courageous battle with cancer. He was diagnosed with Stage 4 Neuroendocrine Cancer in February. Despite undergoing chemotherapy and radiation, which initially removed the tumor in his throat, the disease spread to his lungs and liver by October. Recently, he was referred to MD Anderson Clinic in Houston, but the family was devastated to learn that his condition was terminal. David was sent home from the clinic this week and placed under hospice care, with a prognosis of 16 to 18 weeks left.
David’s family, including his sister Missy Ferguson, has made the difficult decision to bring him home to California so he can spend his remaining days with their mother. The unexpected turn in his health has left the family in deep sorrow, and they are preparing for the inevitable loss of a beloved brother and family member.
To help with the financial burden of final expenses, a GoFundMe page has been set up by Missy Ferguson. The fundraiser aims to raise $2,200 to cover the costs associated with funeral and memorial expenses.
David’s family is deeply grateful for any contributions, as they navigate this challenging time. Friends and family members have expressed their sorrow, offering support and love as David’s condition worsens.
We extend our heartfelt condolences to David Kuiken’s family during this incredibly difficult time. Our thoughts and prayers are with you as you prepare to say goodbye.
