Corporal Pedro Molina, affectionately known as PJ, a U.S. Marine Corps veteran, passed away unexpectedly on September 21, 2024, leaving behind friends, family, and colleagues deeply saddened by his loss. PJ, known for his bright personality and easygoing nature, was a beloved figure in his community. His unexpected passing has left a void in the lives of those who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Pedro, or PJ as he liked to be called—often saying "like pajamas"—was a man who could make anyone laugh. His friends and colleagues remember him as a down-to-earth guy who connected with everyone he met. His journey with many began in 2019, when they started working together, and his dedication led him to open his own office earlier this year in 2024.
PJ embodied the "work hard, play hard" mantra. A lover of pizza, nature, karaoke, anime, and comedy, he cherished spending time with family and friends. His Marine Corps values of honesty, hard work, and loyalty were evident in every aspect of his life, both professionally and personally. PJ’s ability to be kind to others and bring joy to those around him was one of his defining traits.
Spencer Brown, a close friend and colleague, organized a fundraiser titled "In Honor of PJ’s Life and Lasting Legacy" to honor Pedro’s memory and help support his family during this difficult time. Although the fundraiser is still in its early stages, those who knew PJ are encouraged to donate in remembrance of his life and legacy.
The Molina family expressed their deep gratitude for the outpouring of love, prayers, and support from the community.
Pedro’s friends and family will remember him for his humor, kindness, and the lasting impact he made on everyone he encountered. We can only imagine that PJ is somewhere in the mountains of North Carolina, enjoying a slice of pepperoni pizza and watching anime, while looking down on all who loved him.
We extend our deepest condolences to the Molina family and all those grieving the loss of Pedro. Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.
