Corey Shellow, Miami Beach, FL—The Miami Beach community is grieving the loss of Corey Shellow, who passed away unexpectedly on Friday, August 23rd, 2024. Corey was a beloved son, father, and friend, deeply cherished by those who knew him. His passing has left a void in the hearts of many, and the community is coming together to support his family during this difficult time.
A fundraiser has been organized by Randi Bates to help ease the financial burden on Corey’s family, particularly his mother, who will oversee the arrangements for his burial, and his son, whom Corey cared for deeply. The goal of the fundraiser is to raise $20,000 to cover funeral expenses, and so far, $100 has been raised thanks to an early donation from Leon Fong.
In addition to the online fundraiser, a physical event will be held at Finnegan’s Way on Friday, September 6th, from 4:30 to 7 pm, where friends, family, and community members can gather to honor Corey’s memory and contribute to the cause.
