Constantine Romulus State—The Foxearth community is in mourning following the unexpected loss of Constantine Romulus State, fondly known as Romulus. His passing on Sunday, September 22nd, has left a deep void among those who had the privilege of knowing him.
Romulus was a beloved member of the Foxearth Family, having joined in 2019 with his wife and daughter. He was mainly known for his dedicated work on the dementia unit, Woodlands, but his presence was felt throughout the facility. Romulus was a man of many talents; his musical abilities brought joy to the residents, and his infectious smile brightened every room he entered. His love for his family and his passion for caring for others made him truly one of a kind.
Holly Horsman has organized a fundraiser to help fulfill Romulus’s final wish: to be laid to rest in his homeland of Romania. The goal of the fundraiser is to raise £1,000 to assist with the costs of returning Romulus and his family home. The community has rallied together, already surpassing this goal with £1,230 raised from 21 donations.
Among the donors, Sheeba Kuriakose made both the most recent and top donations of £100. Roxanne Cutajar, who was the first to contribute, also donated £100. The generosity shown is a testament to the impact Romulus had on those around him.
Romulus’s memory will continue to live on in the hearts of the Foxearth community, particularly at Woodlands, where his presence will be sorely missed. His laughter, his music, and his genuine kindness left an indelible mark on everyone he met.
We are deeply saddened by the loss of Constantine Romulus State. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family during this difficult time. May his soul rest in peace, and may his family find the strength and support they need in the coming days.
