Concepcion Marin passed away on September 25, leaving behind a grieving family and community in Fallbrook, CA. Concepcion, affectionately known as "Chispis," battled stage 4 lymphoma after being diagnosed in mid-July. Despite her strength and determination to fight the illness through chemotherapy, she developed lung infections that her weakened body could not overcome. At her request, she was peacefully disconnected from life support, transitioning to her eternal rest.
Her passing has left a profound impact on her family, especially her husband, Roque Marin, who now faces the heartbreaking reality of life without his dear companion and perfect love. Roque has been managing the many costs involved, but the family has set up a fundraiser to help cover the remaining expenses.
Concepcion’s final rest will take place on Friday, October 4, starting with a viewing at Berry-Bell & Hall Fallbrook Mortuary from 8:00–10:00 a.m., followed by a Mass at St. Peter Apostle Parish at 11:00 a.m. She will then be laid to rest at the Fallbrook Masonic Cemetery. Friends and family are welcome to join a gathering in her memory at the family home afterward.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to the Marin family during this difficult time. May Concepcion rest in peace, and may her family find comfort in the love and memories she leaves behind.
