Clayton Jr, Pheonix, AZ—The community is grieving the tragic loss of Clayton Jr, who was recently found dead in the Tonto National Forest near the Salt River in Phoenix, AZ. Clayton Jr was discovered in a remote area by a kayaker who was drawn by the smell of a dead body. The kayaker found Clayton Jr lying under a tree at a small campsite with empty food cans, but no beer, alcohol, or drugs were present. There were also no visible injuries. His identification was found in a small backpack he had with him.
Due to the extreme July heat in the area, both the time and cause of death remain unknown. It is considered a miracle that he was found at all. Clayton Jr will be brought to St. George for a closed casket family-only burial.
Tonja Jeffs, Clayton Jr’s mother, has organized a fundraiser to help cover the burial expenses. She is appealing to the community for support to give Clayton Jr a proper burial. The fundraiser aims to raise $7,000, but as of now, there have been no donations.
Tonja expressed her gratitude for any contributions during this difficult time, emphasizing the importance of the support from the community.
We are deeply saddened to learn of Clayton Jr’s passing. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this difficult time.
