She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, known for her lively and charismatic nature. Cindy was a devout believer in her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and her faith was an integral part of her life.
Cindy is survived by her husband, Ronald (Ron) Cathcart, and their son, Joseph (Joe) Cathcart, along with his wife Anne, of Golden Valley, AZ. Her grandchildren, Emma, Sammantha (Sammie), Tristan, Rebecca, Matthew, Kylie, and Hunter, will deeply miss her presence. Cindy’s siblings include Patricia Bousquet (Jim) of Ogallala, NE; Louis (Joy) Bartlett of Maricopa, AZ; Richard (Terry) Bartlett of Chappell, NE; Dennis Bartlett of Scotland, SD; Donald (Don) Bartlett of Big Bear, CA; Olga (Lynn) Rodriguez of Hemet, CA; Lee Elton (Michele) Bartlett of Chappell, NE; and Stephen (Steve) Bartlett of Cheyenne, WY. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews who loved her dearly.
Preceding Cindy in death are her parents, Lee and Emma Bartlett, a sister, Julia Elaine Kerr, and her two sons, Scott and Joshua.
A fundraiser organized by Tory Schmeir has been launched to help cover Cindy’s cremation, memorial service, and any medical expenses incurred during her hospital stay. So far, $115 has been raised out of the $10,000 goal, with contributions from Stacie Ward and Tory Schmeir.
The community has shown an outpouring of support on Facebook. Crystal Zielbauer expressed her shock, saying, "Cindy passed?" Denise Simpson shared her sadness, stating, "So saddened to hear this. Will send sympathies to Ron. And keep the family in our prayers." Stacie Howell mentioned, "I’m thankful you posted this. I had no idea. My heart hurts so much."
