Chris Zeller, Carlsbad, CA—Chris Zeller passed away unexpectedly, leaving his loved ones in deep sorrow. His wife, Darla Zeller, shared that Chris had been battling a severe strain of COVID-19, which eventually led to his passing. He had spent three weeks in the hospital, much of that time on a ventilator. Despite brief moments of hope when he was taken off the ventilator and enjoyed time with Darla, his heart gave out peacefully shortly after.

Darla shared a touching memory of one of their final moments together, where they spent time listening to classic rock and sneaking in ice chips to lighten the mood. "We were always partners in crime," she wrote, reflecting on their bond.
