Chris Pentelute, Clovis, CA—The community is deeply saddened by the passing of Chris Pentelute, who succumbed to Glioblastoma on August 4, 2024. Chris was a devoted husband and father, remembered for his strength and love for his family. He leaves behind his wife of sixteen years, Marie, and their three daughters, Sariah, Kobe, and AJ.
Chris’s battle with Glioblastoma began on September 1, 2021. Throughout his illness, he showed immense courage and resilience. His passing has left a profound void in the lives of his loved ones.
To support Marie, who is a stay-at-home mom, and their daughters during this difficult time, friends of the Pentelute family have initiated a fundraiser. Organized by Kelsie Igasan, the fundraiser aims to cover funeral expenses and the accumulated bills. So far, $407 has been raised out of the $25,000 goal, with donations from compassionate individuals like Hunter Thiesen, Michael Bridge, and Amy Evans.
In addition to the fundraiser, a meal train has been set up to help the family with daily living activities. Kelsie Igasan shared on Facebook, "We have created a meal train for the Pentelute family. Please sign up to drop off meals and/or donations for their daily living activities. Thank you so much for your generosity, love, & prayers during this time."
Brett Mattos also expressed his gratitude on Facebook, "If you know my brother Chris and you are able and would like to be a blessing to his wife Marie and his kids, it would be greatly appreciated."
The outpouring of love and support from the community has been overwhelming, showing just how much Chris meant to those around him. His memory will live on through the cherished moments and the love he shared with his family and friends.
We are deeply saddened to learn of Chris Pentelute’s passing. Our thoughts and prayers are with Marie, Sariah, Kobe, AJ, and the entire Pentelute family during this difficult time.
