Chip Davis, Mooresville, NC — The community mourns the sudden and unexpected loss of Chip Davis, who passed away at home on Saturday, July 20th, 2024. Chip was a beloved husband, father, and friend known for his warmth, generosity, and infectious laugh. He leaves behind his wife, Amanda, and their nearly seven-month-old son, Charlie.

Chip was not only a family man but also a cherished member of various communities, including La Musica Lirica, where he served as a technical director. La Musica Lirica expressed their sorrow, remembering Chip as a kind and talented man who was an integral part of their family. They send their love and prayers to Amanda and the rest of Chip’s family during this difficult time.

In response to the outpouring of support and requests to help, Catie Sesler has organized a fundraiser titled "Help Secure Charlie’s Future in Memory of Chip." As of today, $875 has been raised out of the $10,000 goal from four donations. These funds will be dedicated to Charlie’s immediate needs, future hobbies, lessons, and education. Additionally, some funds will be set aside for a special trip to Novafeltria, Italy, where Chip and Amanda first met and fell in love.

Chip’s memory will live on through the love and joy he shared with everyone around him. His family, friends, and community will forever cherish the moments they had with him, finding comfort in the lasting impact he made.
