Chika Law Nwaenyi, Nigeria – Family Mourns the Loss of a Devoted Brother and Father

Chika Law Nwaenyi passed away on October 2, 2024, in Nigeria, after complications arising from high blood sugar levels. His sister, Chinelo Olemba Nwaenyi, shared the heartbreaking news, explaining that his last hospital visit failed to detect the issue, leading to his passing.

Chika, the seventh child and fourth male of their family, was a beloved figure not only to his siblings but also to the wider community. He recently celebrated his 60th birthday on September 8, a milestone that would unknowingly be his last. Chika was a devout Christian, a preacher of the gospel from a young age, and remained dedicated to his faith until the very end.

Chinelo, who lives in the UK and suffers from multiple chronic health conditions, including fibromyalgia, asthma, and hypothyroidism, is devastated by the loss of her brother. Due to her health problems, she will be unable to attend Chika’s funeral in Nigeria. Despite this, she is organizing a fundraiser to support the costs of his hospital bills, casket, funeral, and other expenses. Chinelo fondly remembers Chika as her childhood companion and advisor, both morally and academically.

Chika is survived by his wife and three children, two sons and a daughter, who now mourn the loss of their father. The family and community are rallying together to provide him with a heartfelt goodbye, with donations already coming in to support the funeral arrangements.
