Chhorn was a cherished father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He is survived by his wife, Vantha Sor, his children Chay Pan and his wife, Sophary, Chhem Pan and his partner, Mary Don, as well as his daughters Ampa Pan, Bunphan Pan, Vary Pan, and Vanara Pan. His extended family includes 28 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.
Born in Krong Kampong Cham, Cambodia, Chhorn moved to the United States in 1985, initially settling in Texas and later relocating to California and then Lowell, MA. Throughout his life, Chhorn worked in various trades, including as a jeweler and baker, but his greatest joy came from his family. He was known for his love of cooking, fishing, and spending time outdoors.
