Charlene Louise Templeton, Oxford County—Charlene Louise Templeton passed away peacefully on August 16th, 2024, at Woodstock Hospital. Her passing has left her family, friends, and community in deep sorrow. Charlene was a cherished wife, mother, and grandmother, known for her nurturing spirit and the love she shared with those around her.
Born on April 21st, 1968, Charlene was the beloved wife of David Templeton. Together, they shared nearly a decade of marriage since their wedding on November 5th, 2014. She was a devoted mother to Brigitta (Keaton), Cassiopea (Dean), and Joshua, as well as a proud grandmother to Canyon, River, and Summit, who all benefited from her caring and loving nature. Charlene was also survived by her sister Ruth (Ron) and her treasured cats, Maizy and Theo. Her passing comes after being preceded in death by her parents, Sheila and Charlie Brown.
Charlene spent 26 dedicated years working at Russell A. Farrow, where her commitment was admired by colleagues and friends. Outside of work, she was deeply involved in her community, and her memory will live on through a local charity in Oxford County that will receive donations in her name, supporting causes close to her heart.
Cassie Monteith, Charlene’s close family friend, has organized a fundraiser in her memory. Though the goal is set for $2,000 CAD, no donations have been made yet, but community support is anticipated to grow in the coming days. A virtual celebration of Charlene’s life is scheduled for September 22nd, 2024, where her loved ones will come together to honor her memory and share stories of the impact she had on their lives.
