Born on April 18, 1975, in Georgetown, SC, Caroline dedicated much of her life to raising her family in Charleston. A Georgetown High School graduate, she earned an Associate in Public Service Legal Assistant from Trident Technical College and spent two decades contributing her expertise to law firms in Charleston. Her career was complemented by her roles in stylish retail management.
In addition to her professional achievements, Caroline enjoyed a rich array of interests including culinary adventures, fishing, boating, artistic pursuits, and active involvement in local communities. She was a member of The Order of the Daughters of the King, the Church of the Holy Cross on Sullivan’s Island, and various other organizations. Her contributions extended to the National Brittany Rescue & Adoption Network and the United States Tennis Association.
Caroline is survived by her husband Thomas Patrick Gaffney, and their children Robert Ian Dickinson, Madeline Paige Ludwig, and Connor Theodore McLaughlin. She is also remembered by her father David Morgan Collins, her mother Deneise Altman Green (Jack), her sisters M. Morgan Geldean and Sarah M. Collins, and her extended family.
