He was surrounded by love, having spent nearly five months in the ICU, demonstrating incredible strength and resilience throughout his fight. Despite facing significant health challenges throughout his life, Brock’s spirit remained unbroken. He was known for his determination and joy, which inspired everyone who knew him.
Brock was deeply loved by his family, including his parents, Lindsay and Bryan Rookhuyzen, who stood by his side every step of the way. In honor of his life, a fundraiser has been set up to help cover funeral and related expenses, with contributions already beginning to pour in from friends and family. The total amount raised so far is $75, thanks to early donations from Janet Manegold and Edward Whetten.
