Breeanna’s life was tragically affected by addiction, a path she began following her mother’s footsteps. Faith shared that she had been lost to addiction herself during Breeanna’s formative years, which had a profound impact on her daughter. Despite the challenges, Breeanna always showed up for her mother, hoping she would recover. Faith eventually did, achieving almost two years of sobriety by November, but Breeanna’s struggle with addiction continued and ultimately led to her untimely death due to fentanyl.
Faith has started a GoFundMe campaign to cover the funeral expenses, which are estimated to exceed $500 to bring Breeanna’s body home to Bonnyville and $200 for her burial plot. The fundraiser, organized by Faith Teske, has so far raised $1,950 CAD of the $5,000 goal, thanks to the generous contributions of donors including Kayla Dion ($1,000), Judy Roux ($200), and Loryanne Badger ($200), among others.
