Bobby Reilly, North East, MD — The community is mourning the loss of Bobby Reilly, who passed away on July 27, 2024. Bobby, a 33-year-old beloved son, friend, and colleague, is remembered for his kindness and hard-working spirit.
Bobby Reilly experienced a seizure at work in October 2023, which marked the beginning of his medical struggles. Despite multiple scans, MRIs, and doctor visits, the cause remained uncertain, with a possible diagnosis of epilepsy. Unfortunately, Bobby had additional seizures, and on July 26, 2024, he suffered his fourth seizure while at work. The paramedics quickly transported him to a local hospital, and he was subsequently airlifted to Christiana Hospital in Newark, DE. Sadly, he went into cardiac arrest and passed away the following day.
His mother, Patricia Ayers, has organized a GoFundMe campaign to help cover the funeral expenses. The fundraiser, titled "Bobby Reilly’s funeral expenses," aims to raise $9,000. Patricia Ayers mentioned, “A few people suggested I make a GoFundMe account because GiveSendGo requires too much info to donate so here it is… please share and I will close out the GiveSendGo once I can access the monies (4 more days).”
The community has rallied around the Reilly family, with many expressing their condolences and support through Facebook posts. Patti Reilly Ayers, along with Tara Reilly, shared heartfelt messages remembering Bobby’s impact on their lives.
Donations for Bobby Reilly’s funeral can also be sent directly to Crouch Funeral Home, located at 127 S. Main St., North East, MD 21901. Patricia Ayers and the Reilly family appreciate the support and ask everyone to share the GoFundMe link even if they cannot donate, due to the economic situation.
