Bob Ciardelli, Plymouth—The Plymouth community mourns the loss of Bob Ciardelli, a cherished husband, father, and friend who passed away on July 12, 2024, at his home, surrounded by his family after facing lymphoma. Bob, born on December 6, 1962, grew up in Bloomington, and was one of eleven children. A graduate of Bloomington Jefferson High School, he was known for his warmth, strong work ethic, and vivacious spirit.
Bob wore many hats in his life, from owning Ciardelli’s Pizza & Pasta to guiding fly-fishing adventures and working as a salesman. His love for the outdoors was profound, spending treasured days in Minnesota, Montana, and South Dakota fly-fishing, hunting, and enjoying evenings around bonfires with his family and friends. His passion for these simple pleasures made an indelible impact on everyone around him.
He is survived by his wife, Ann, and their six children: Ashley (Jesse) Balego, Dominic (Siri), Olivia (Bryan) Castonguay, Cole, Parker, and Sophia. He also leaves behind his cherished grandchildren Georgia, Etta, Juni, Maeve, River, and Otis, as well as his hunting companion, Boomer. Bob’s siblings and numerous nieces and nephews also feel the deep loss of his presence.
The family will celebrate his life on Friday, November 8, at Wayzata Community Church in Minnesota, followed by a gathering at Olympic Hills Country Club in Eden Prairie.
In honor of his memory, Friends of Bobby C have organized a fundraiser to support his family through this difficult period. Those wishing to contribute can do so to help reach the $2,500 goal.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to Bob’s family and friends during this sorrowful time. May his legacy of love, joy, and resilience continue to shine through those who knew and loved him.
