Bert Babineau, Niagara Falls, ON— Bert Babineau passed away on November 22, 2024, after a long battle with COPD and lung cancer. He was 72 years old. Bert was a beloved figure known for his kindness, generosity, and dedication to helping others. Throughout his life, he opened his heart and home to many, especially to teenagers who had nowhere to go. Bert provided them with work, guidance, love, and a sense of belonging.

His passing marks the end of a chapter for those who knew him, but his legacy of compassion and selflessness will live on in the lives of those he helped. He touched many lives with his unwavering support, and the community is now coming together to honor him.

A fundraiser has been set up by Jennifer Moodie to cover the expenses for a celebration of life service, which will be held in Niagara Falls on December 8, 2024. The goal is to provide Bert with a beautiful service, complete with flowers, a pastor, and a special urn. So far, $200 CAD has been raised through generous donations from friends and loved ones, including contributions from Melissa McCutcheon, Nicole Crawford, Manon Morin, and Susie Reid.

Bert’s passing has left a hole in the hearts of many, but the love and guidance he offered will not be forgotten. His family and friends are deeply grateful for the support shown during this difficult time.
