Ben LaFollette, Dalton, MA — The community of Dalton is heartbroken by the unexpected loss of Ben LaFollette. Known for his sharp wit, love for Halloween, and unique personality, Ben was an irreplaceable presence in the lives of his family and friends. His ability to connect with those around him through his dark humor and gentle kindness left a lasting impact.

Ben was an avid collector of crystals and oddities, finding joy in the quiet beauty of these treasures. His love for plants was evident in his personal collection, and he took great pride in nurturing them. His greatest companion, however, was his beloved cat George, who brought him immense joy and comfort.

For over a decade, Ben worked at River Valley Co-op Market, where he rose to the role of Assistant Category Manager, forging deep friendships with his colleagues and customers alike. His passing has left a void not only in his family but also in the workplace where his dedication and loyalty were greatly admired.
