She had been placed in a medically induced coma following a cardiac arrest on November 17, 2024, and despite the doctors’ best efforts, it was later determined that there was no brain activity. She passed away peacefully at 10:22 am.
Belinda was an unwavering source of love and strength, not just for her family but for everyone who knew her. Throughout her life, she remained an advocate for those suffering from chronic illnesses, and despite the physical challenges of her condition, she lived with resilience, compassion, and remarkable courage. Her legacy of generosity will be remembered through her decision to be a selfless organ donor, saving multiple lives by donating her lungs, kidneys, liver, and tissue.
Her family and friends now face the painful task of coping with her loss. Belinda’s children, Dimitrius and Chessa, as well as her granddaughter Alaiya, were at the heart of her life. Chessa is preparing for college, and Belinda had been a proud supporter of her dreams. Dimitrius, who followed a career in HVAC, is deeply grateful for the constant encouragement his mother gave him to pursue his goals.
In addition to her family, Belinda had a deep love for motorcycles and gymnastics, both of which she pursued passionately throughout her life. Her spirit of adventure and determination were clear in everything she did.
