Austin Carpenter, Buckner, VA Community Mourns Tragic Loss

Austin Carpenter, Buckner, VA—The Buckner community is in deep mourning following the tragic passing of Austin Carpenter. He was involved in a motorcycle accident on Friday, August 23, 2024. At just 24 years old, Austin leaves behind his wife, Victoria Carpenter, who is 23 years old and expecting their second child, a daughter named Austyn Presley Carpenter, in about a month. The couple also has a two-year-old daughter, Hazel Mae Carpenter.

This sudden and heartbreaking loss has left the family in a challenging situation, as Austin did not have life insurance. In light of this, a fundraiser has been organized by Helen Dobbins, Austin’s mother-in-law, to help support Victoria and the children during this difficult time. The goal of the fundraiser is to raise $5,000 to cover funeral expenses and provide some financial relief for the family.

As of now, the fundraiser has just started, and no donations have yet been made. The funeral service for Austin Carpenter is scheduled to take place on Friday, September 6, 2024, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Found & Sons Funeral Home.
