Ashlie Sue Westbrook, Colorado — Ashlie Sue Westbrook passed away on Wednesday, November 27, 2024, at the age of 43. Her untimely death has left her family, friends, and the community in profound grief. Ashlie, originally from Claremore, Oklahoma, was born on March 26, 1981, to David Frank Todd and Robbie Sue Hedges. She grew up in Collinsville, Oklahoma, where she was educated and later pursued her studies at Tulsa Community College.
Ashlie spent much of her life dedicated to her work as the beverage manager at Breckenridge Resort. Her love for the outdoors was evident in her many hobbies, including skiing, snowboarding, hiking, and traveling, which brought her much joy throughout her life.
Ashlie was married to Scott Westbrook on February 29, 2016, in Eureka Springs, Arkansas. She leaves behind her husband, Scott, and their daughter, Teya Kian Mazac, as well as her mother, Robbie Hedges, and her grandfather, Robert Hedges. She is also survived by her siblings: Xena Estelle Hedges, Ramona Groth, Carma Jones, Brandi Todd, and Jacob Todd, as well as a host of extended family and friends.
Ashlie was preceded in death by her daughter, Laiken Rain Mazac, her sister, Carrie Todd, her father, David Todd, her maternal grandmother, Janet Hedges, and her paternal grandparents, Jim and Carmen Todd.
In response to this devastating loss, a fundraiser has been organized by Ramona Groth to support Scott and Teya during this challenging time. The family is deeply grateful for the support and donations from the community, which have already begun to provide some relief.
