Ashley Drake Morgan, Edmond, OK—It is with deep sorrow that we report the passing of Ashley Drake Morgan, who left us unexpectedly on November 10, 2024. Born on February 13, 1995, Ashley was known for her vivacious personality and the loving nature she extended to all around her. She touched many lives with her bright spirit and unwavering support for those she cared about.
Ashley’s greatest pride and joy was her daughter, Melody Renée Emery. The bond they shared, though tragically short, was a testament to the love and light Ashley embodied. In addition to her daughter, Ashley is survived by her brothers, Justin Earl Braziel and Joshua Hawkins, her grandmother, Melba Francine Burton, and her stepfather, Randy Kelly, along with many other loving family members. She was preceded in death by her partner, Christian Matthew Emery, and her parents, Ellen Renée Burton and Ronald Ervine Drake-Morgan.
A fundraiser has been organized by Barb Ray to honor Ashley’s memory and support her loved ones during this difficult time. As of today, $140 has been raised out of a goal to cover funeral expenses and other related costs.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at Kingdom City Church in Oklahoma City on November 30, 2024, at 2:00 pm.
Our hearts are with Ashley’s family and friends during this time of grief. May her memory continue to be a blessing to all who knew her.
We are deeply saddened by the passing of Ashley Drake Morgan. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this difficult time.
