Asberry Elmore, Indianapolis, IN — The community is mourning the loss of Asberry "AB" Patrick Elmore, who passed away on the 4th of July. AB was a beloved husband, father, and friend, remembered for his resilience, kindness, and genuine nature.
AB faced significant health challenges over the past few years, including the need for a heart transplant. His strength and determination allowed him to recover sufficiently to receive a new heart, but life as an organ recipient was not easy. Despite the struggles, AB continued to fight for a better life.
On Monday, July 1st, AB was found unresponsive by his wife. Her swift actions allowed him to be revived and transported to Ascension hospital, where he fought valiantly to stay alive. Unfortunately, on the morning of the 4th of July, with his wife by his side, AB’s body could no longer endure, and he passed away.
AB’s passing has left a deep void in the lives of his family and friends. His mother lost an auspicious son, his children lost a devoted father, and his wife lost a loving husband. The pain and absence felt by his family are indescribable.
To support AB’s family during this difficult time, a fundraiser has been organized by Travis Bailey. The goal is to raise $10,000 to help cover funeral expenses and other costs. So far, $100 has been raised through a donation from Brittany Reese.
The community is encouraged to contribute and share their support to help AB’s family navigate this challenging period. Every donation matters and will be greatly appreciated.
