Anvar was born on October 22, 1987, and had moved from Azerbaijan to the United States in 2022 to seek a better life for himself and his family. Tragically, he became the victim of an unprovoked stabbing by a fellow Azerbaijani in the Safeway parking lot on Wisconsin Ave in Washington, DC.
Anvar, who resided in Alexandria, VA, is survived by his grieving family, including three young children in Azerbaijan. Despite the distance, Anvar was a devoted father and husband who tirelessly supported his family back home. His sudden passing has left a deep void in their lives.
