Anvar was born on October 22, 1987, and had moved from Azerbaijan to the United States in 2022 to seek a better life for himself and his family. Tragically, he became the victim of an unprovoked stabbing by a fellow Azerbaijani in the Safeway parking lot on Wisconsin Ave in Washington, DC.
