Anthony “Tony” Radovich Sr., Las Vegas, NV— It is with great sadness that we share the news of Anthony “Tony” Radovich Sr.’s passing. After suffering a fall on July 26th caused by insulin shock, which led to serious fractures in his back and ribs, his health tragically declined. He spent 10 weeks in hospitals and skilled nursing facilities, during which his mild dementia rapidly advanced. Tony passed away on October 2nd, leaving behind his loving family and a grieving community.
Tony and his wife had lived independently until the sudden accident. The unexpected medical care, combined with funeral and transport costs, has placed a significant financial burden on the family. Although they had planned for family burial plots in Bakersfield, CA, these unforeseen expenses have created a challenging situation.
To honor Tony’s memory and help his wife transition to assisted living, his daughter, Tonya Ruby, has organized a fundraiser. The family has expressed deep gratitude for any support, whether through donations or by sharing the fundraiser. So far, the campaign has received heartfelt contributions from Dave & Ann Hoopes ($200), Sara Hoopes ($500), and an anonymous donor ($100), all in an effort to ease the financial stress on the family.
The Radovich family is especially thankful for the kindness and support during this difficult time as they prepare to lay Tony to rest in California, where he will be buried alongside his son, Christopher.
Our thoughts and prayers are with Tony’s family. May they find peace and comfort in the love that surrounds them.
