Anthony "Tony" Eugene Martin Jr., Irvington, NJ— Anthony “Tony” Eugene Martin Jr. passed away on November 17, 2024, while visiting Atlanta with his daughter for a college tour. Tony’s tragic passing occurred after a flat tire repair, which led to an unexpected encounter that took his life. His untimely death has left his family, friends, and coworkers devastated.

Tony was a dedicated father to his daughter, who is soon to enter college, and another child who is still in school. The loss has placed a significant financial burden on his family, especially with the upcoming holidays. In an effort to bring Tony home to New York, his loved ones have started a fundraising campaign. The funds raised will help cover the costs of transporting his body back home and organizing a celebration of his life.

A funeral service is scheduled for December 6, 2024, at the First Church of God in Christ, located at 187-10 Baisley Blvd., Saint Albans, NY 11412. The viewing will be held from 12 to 1 p.m., followed by the service at 1 p.m. A repass will follow, with details to be announced.
