Anthony Silva, originally from Brazil, has tragically passed away, and the Milford, MA community is coming together to support his family in this difficult time. Anthony, who was born on May 18, 1988, was found without life on October 8, 2024. He leaves behind his mother and brother in Brazil and a 4-year-old son residing in the U.S., where Anthony had made his home.
His family wishes to bring Anthony’s body back to Brazil, where they hope to lay him to rest in his home country. However, the cost of transporting his body and arranging both a local service for friends and his son, as well as a funeral in Brazil, presents a financial burden.
In response, a GoFundMe fundraiser titled "Bring Anthony Silva Home for Final Goodbyes" has been organized by Alessandro Medeiros to help cover these expenses. As of now, donations have begun to flow in, with $200 generously given by Wood Palace Kitchens and another $100 anonymously.
Friends and family have expressed their sorrow and condolences on social media. Eleonora Adorni Tulaba shared, “Meu Deus, muito triste.” Michael Holick wrote, “So sorry Jackie, he was a good guy,” while Christine Morley said, “I’m so sorry for your loss. May his memory be eternal.” Timothy Tim Holick added, “Damn, I’m so sorry to hear this. May God bless his soul.”
We are deeply saddened by the loss of Anthony Silva and send our thoughts and prayers to his family and loved ones. May they find comfort and peace during this difficult time.
