Anoush Lilya Oganesian, Portland, OR — The Portland community is grieving the loss of Anoush Lilya Oganesian, a cherished mother, friend, and dedicated business owner, who passed away on October 28, 2024, after bravely facing endometrial cancer. Born in Yerevan, Armenia, in 1969, Anoush came to the United States in 1989, bringing her spirit of independence and passion for life with her. She was well-known for running her own auto business and sharing her love of cooking, brightening the lives of those around her.
Anoush’s daughters, Alvina and Natella, who were close by her side, now carry the weight of her loss and the financial burdens that accompany it. To honor her life, they have created a fundraiser to assist with funeral and burial expenses. Though selling cherished items from her collection, they continue to seek additional support to help lay their mother to rest as she wished.
Organized by Olivia Serrill, the fundraiser has a goal of $13,000, covering essential costs such as a burial at Molalla Memorial Cemetery, a celebration of life, and moving expenses. As of today, $290 has been raised through the generosity of six donors, including contributions from Mel B, Amanda C, and Arkadiy Klyuchnikov.
Anoush’s legacy will live on in the hearts of her family, friends, and all who knew her. Her daughters hope to provide her a farewell that reflects her strength, love, and enduring influence.
Our thoughts and prayers are with Anoush’s family in this difficult time. May she rest in peace.
