Ann Purcell, Happy Valley, OR— Ann Purcell passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 21, 2024, following a sudden medical emergency. Ann, a vibrant and loving presence in the lives of her family, was known for her caring spirit and strong connection to those around her.
On December 20th, Ann experienced a medical emergency that required immediate transport to Legacy Emmanuel Medical Center in Portland for specialized care. Despite the efforts of the medical team, Ann developed complications from surgery, including an infection that severely impacted her breathing. Sadly, her condition deteriorated rapidly, and her body began to shut down.
With heavy hearts, her family gathered to say their final goodbyes on Saturday morning. In honor of Ann’s memory, they are now reaching out to the community for support to cover the costs of transporting her remains for cremation. The family has set up a fundraising campaign with a goal to cover the cremation expenses and other associated costs during this difficult time.
The community has shown incredible support through donations, including from Cheyanne Fierro, Delilah Pieper, Mariella Saguisag, and Collin Chambers. These contributions are helping the family through their sorrow and easing the financial burden they face.
