Amy Heitz, a resident of Arnold, MO, passed away recently, leaving behind a grieving family and community. Amy, who was 54 years old, passed unexpectedly after being diagnosed with a rare and aggressive form of cancer, Rhabdomyosarcoma, just a few weeks ago. By the time the illness was discovered, it had already spread throughout her body. The news has shaken her loved ones, who now face the difficult task of saying their final goodbyes.
Amy was well-known for her love of the Kansas City Chiefs, her grandbabies, and her dogs. She wasn’t afraid to speak her mind and was a hard worker. The suddenness of her passing has left her family unprepared for the financial burdens associated with her farewell. As such, Adam Bentrup has organized a GoFundMe campaign titled “Assist with Amy Heitz’s Final Farewell” to help cover medical, funeral, and memorial expenses. The funds will also provide some relief to her family during this challenging time.
The community has already begun showing their support. Debra Skyles has donated $150 to the fundraiser, and more contributions are expected as the campaign continues. On Facebook, several individuals have shared their memories and prayers for Amy. Renee Robichaud Helfert posted, “St John’s Catholic Imperial MO, this is for Amy Kraus, she was 8th grade graduating class of 1984 and 1988 graduate of Fox High School. Please help or share.”
We are deeply saddened by Amy Heitz’s passing, and our thoughts and prayers are with her family and friends during this time of grief. The community’s outpouring of love will help them navigate through this period of loss.
