Allison Davis, Brooklyn, NY—Allison Davis passed away in July after a long battle with cancer, leaving the community in mourning. A dedicated teacher in the New York City school system for over 20 years, Allison was also an active member of several unions and community organizations. She served as a minister at the Mount Hope Pilgrim SB church in Bedford Stuyvesant, Brooklyn.
Allison is survived by her son, Alastair Forde, and her daughter, Alyssa. She also leaves behind many other family members in Brooklyn and Trinidad. Her passing has deeply affected her family and the community she served so diligently.
