Allison Beesley White, a beloved member of the Winterville, NC community, passed away on Wednesday, September 18, 2024, at the age of 45. Allison was a dedicated educator and mentor who left an indelible mark on the lives of many. Her passing is a great loss to her family, friends, and all those she touched during her life.
Born and raised in Westchester County, NY, Allison had made eastern North Carolina her home for nearly 25 years. She was passionate about education, holding both a bachelor’s degree from the University of North Carolina Wilmington and a master’s degree in instructional technology from East Carolina University. She taught in the public school systems of Pender County and Chapel Hill for six years before transitioning to a career in graphic design, where she worked as a consultant for two years. Despite her professional achievements, her true joy came from teaching, mentoring, and spending time with her loved ones.
Allison’s family and friends will gather to celebrate her life today, Saturday, September 28, at 1 pm at Christ Hope Church in Greenville, NC. The service will also be streamed live for those unable to attend. Friends are invited to pay their respects to the family before the service from noon to 12:45 pm.
She is survived by her loving husband of nearly 20 years, Kevin White, and their two children, Emma Rose White and Nathan White. Her parents, C.R. “Cap” and Joan Beesley of Mt. Vernon, NY, and her sister Jennipher Beesley-Androvic, along with her nephews Benjamin and Luke, also mourn her loss.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to a scholarship fund for her children at Christ Covenant School. Jennipher Beesley has set up a fundraiser to support this initiative, which aims to honor Allison’s commitment to education and her love for helping others achieve their dreams.
