Adrian Dunning, Dearborn, MI— Adrian Dunning passed away unexpectedly on December 11, 2024, leaving her family and the community in deep sorrow. Adrian, who was just 41 years old, had been at home visiting her mother Avery and her two young daughters when tragedy struck. Despite efforts by emergency responders to revive her, Adrian passed away after an hour of attempts. She had been battling Congestive Heart Failure and Cardiomyopathy, and had a pacemaker to manage her health issues.
Adrian’s passing has left her two daughters, aged 6 and 19, without their mother just before the holiday season. In addition, her mother Avery, who now faces the overwhelming responsibility of caring for her granddaughters, is in need of support. Adrian’s death has also placed a heavy financial burden on the family, as Adrian did not have life insurance to cover funeral expenses, and Avery must now move from a senior living facility to a home that will accommodate her granddaughters.
A GoFundMe campaign has been set up by Avery’s coworker, Rene Cavins, to help cover the funeral and burial costs, as well as the family’s immediate needs. The goal of the fundraiser is $10,000, with donations going toward securing a home for Avery and her granddaughters, as well as providing some comfort during the difficult holiday season.
We extend our deepest condolences to Avery, the two young daughters, and the entire family. Our thoughts and prayers are with them during this incredibly painful time.
