Community Mourns Chef Vaughn Williams Of Raleigh, North Carolina, As Support Fund Reaches $1,775 Toward $3,000 Goal
Vaughn Williams, known as Chef Vaughn, has passed away, according to a June 3, 2026 post shared by Kimberly Winborne.
Winborne described Williams as a tenured chef from Raleigh, North Carolina, who provided meals for families during celebrations and milestones.
Williams also served unsheltered people in Durham and surrounding counties, and traveled to Charlotte, North Carolina, to extend that care.
The post said a support fund titled “A Loving Farewell for Chef Vaughn Williams” had raised $1,775 toward a $3,000 goal through 17 donations.
Winborne said the fund will help the family honor Williams and address final hospital bills.
The community remembers Williams as a steady and generous presence whose cooking and service reached many people across North Carolina.
Details regarding memorial plans will be announced at a later time, and the family will share obituary and funeral information soon.
