Travis Brissell, Mansfield Resident and Dedicated Operations Manager, Dies Following Tragic Car Crash in Troy Township, Ohio
Travis Brissell, a 35-year-old resident of Mansfield, passed away following a fatal single-vehicle crash on March 9 in Troy Township, Ohio.
Authorities reported that the accident occurred around 10:14 p.m. along Gass Road, where the vehicle lost control, left the roadway, and struck multiple trees before catching fire.
Officials later confirmed the identity through the Richland County Coroner’s Office.
Travis built a respected career with Axalta Coating Systems, serving more than a decade as an operations manager and earning recognition for professionalism and leadership.
Travis graduated from Lexington High School in 2009 and later earned a degree in medical and biological chemistry from the University of Toledo, along with a minor in pharmaceutical sciences.
Friends and community members shared heartfelt condolences online, with one message reading, "So very sorry for this loss, keeping the family in our thoughts," while another added, "Sending prayers and strength during this difficult time."
Visitation will take place on March 20 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., followed by a memorial service on March 21 at 11 a.m.
