Steven Hinshaw of Grandview, Missouri, passed away on April 23, 2026, at the age of 28, leaving family, friends, and the community in profound sorrow.
Known for his warmth, kindness, and close connections with family and friends, Steven's presence brightened the lives of those around him.
He was predeceased by his grandparents, Floyd and Norma Roll, Dr. Rolland Hinshaw, Bill Henderson, Joy Mise, Jessie Mise, and his niece Ahryah Hinshaw, and is survived by his parents Dr. Douglas Hinshaw of Sterling, KS, and Darla Hinshaw of Port Aransas, TX, his partner Bailey Salmon of Grandview, MO, his brothers Chris, Phillip, and Austin Hinshaw, and nieces Aleigha, Sansa, and Madi Hinshaw.

Visitation will be held on Friday, May 1st, 2026, at Birzer Funeral Home in Sterling, KS, with the funeral service and graveside service following on Saturday, May 2nd, 2026, at Celebration Centre in Lyons, KS, and Waco Cemetery in Haysville, KS, respectively. A reception will conclude the day's memorial events.
