Riley Derryl Moorhead, of Lovington, New Mexico, and born in Hobbs, New Mexico, passed away on May 4, 2026, at the age of 25.
Riley was born on January 22, 2001, and leaves a lasting memory among family, friends, and all who knew Riley.

Riley is survived by parents Rusty Moorhead and Joni Moorhead Peterson, child River Derryl Moorhead, siblings Dusty Lee Moorhead, Patience, and Trinity Moorhead, grandparents Rocky, Nancy Moorhead, Kelly De Long, Kevin Rogers, and Cara Peterson, and great-grandparent Vickie Moorhead.
A memorial service is scheduled for Saturday, May 23, 2026, at 10:00 AM at Resthaven Cemetery, with arrangements under the care of Kirby-Smith-Rogers Funeral Home.
