Richard Hartnell, a 56-year-old person from Kenosha, Wisconsin, passed away after a pedestrian crash on U.S. Route 250 in Erie County, Ohio, late on June 2, 2026.
Authorities said the incident happened around 10:10 p.m. near Fox Road in Huron Township as Richard Hartnell attempted to cross the highway.
Officials reported that a northbound Harley-Davidson motorcycle hit Richard Hartnell, and moments later a Toyota RAV4 traveling along the roadway also made contact.
Emergency responders arrived quickly and pronounced Richard Hartnell deceased at the scene due to severe injuries.
