Rebecca Renee Richey Schmidtlein Remembered After Unexpected Passing On June 3, 2026, With Support Fund Created For Memorial Costs And Easton’s Future
Rebecca Renee Richey Schmidtlein, lovingly known as Becca, Beccus, and Rebeeka, passed away unexpectedly on June 3, 2026.
Rebecca’s family remembers a warm, talented, and generous person who brought light to relatives, friends, and everyone met along the way.
Rebecca raised Easton, age 13, with deep care, and family members say Easton will carry that love forward.
Rebecca excelled as a student and law clerk, and also found meaning in art, jewelry-making, sewing, writing, skydiving, rainy days, and time in nature.
Alicia Richey and four co-organizers created a fundraiser on June 7, 2026, to help with funeral and memorial costs and to support a trust for Easton’s future.
The fundraiser listed $1,720 raised toward a $26K goal through 19 donations.
