LaDonna Craig, affectionately known in the roller derby community as Storm, tragically passed away on Sunday, March 15, 2026, following a car accident.

A powerhouse on the track and a mentor to many, LaDonna’s dedication to No Coast Roller Derby since 2011 inspired countless players. She not only excelled in competition but also contributed as an official, coached the juniors team, and skated with other leagues wherever she traveled.

The No Coast Roller Derby family shared their heartbreak, highlighting LaDonna’s generosity and the positive impact she had on the derby community. Friends and supporters took to social media to express their sorrow, with many remembering her as a “remarkable friend and mentor who always encouraged everyone to give their best.”

The Craig family has requested donations in lieu of flowers, with a GoFundMe campaign set up to cover funeral costs and support immediate family needs. Donations honor LaDonna’s derby number, #5, and her enduring legacy in the sport she loved.
