Kike Guanipa Remembered After Passing At 56 Following More Than Three Years Of Illness As Family Plans Final Journey To San Cristóbal
Kike Guanipa passed away at 56 after more than three years with colorectal cancer and later liver cancer, according to a memorial fundraiser created on May 3, 2026.
Jose A Guanipa organized the fundraiser from Hollywood, FL, to honor Kike’s legacy and help the Guanipa Morles family with medical bills, credit cards, phone bills, health insurance, and the final journey to San Cristóbal.
The fundraiser had raised $870 toward a $10K goal through 9 donations.
Family members remembered Kike for love, true friendship, hard work, humility, and a determined spirit that inspired relatives, friends, and everyone who knew Kike.
Kike loved soccer, especially Deportivo Táchira, Real Madrid, and Boca Juniors, and also cherished grandchildren Gael and Liam deeply.
Memorial service details will be announced later by the family.
