Kiev Lua Soana’i Oeti Remembered After Sudden Passing At 34 As Loved Ones Support Rachel And Four Children
Kiev Lua Soana’i Oeti has passed away suddenly at the age of 34, leaving family, friends, Rachel, and four children in deep grief.
Loved ones described Kiev as Rachel’s partner, support, and best friend, and as a devoted parent to two young children and a caring stepparent to two more.
The family said Kiev lived for family, worked hard, made sacrifices, and helped the children feel safe, loved, and cared for.
Kristyn Barker and Pam OFarrell created a fundraiser on Monday, 04 May 2026, to help with funeral expenses and plans to bring Kiev home to Samoa.
As of the post, supporters had raised $1,630 AUD toward a $10,000 AUD goal through 23 donations.
Memorial service details and funeral arrangements will be announced later by family members.
