Justin Hurd, a 32-year-old Wingate resident, died after a single-vehicle crash on County Road 400 East near State Road 38 in Tippecanoe County, just outside Clarks Hill, Indiana, on Friday afternoon, May 15, 2026.
Emergency responders arrived after reports of a serious crash and authorities pronounced Justin Hurd deceased at the scene.
The Tippecanoe County Coroner’s Office confirmed that Justin Hurd died from multiple blunt force injuries and ruled the death accidental.
Investigators ordered standard toxicology testing as part of the continuing review, and authorities said results could take up to eight weeks.
