Jerome Warren, 43, Of Franklinton Remembered After May 28, 2026 Morning Crash On LA 1057 In Tangipahoa Parish
Jerome Warren, a 43-year-old resident of Franklinton, died after a morning crash on LA 1057 near Milburn Grace Road in Tangipahoa Parish on Thursday, May 28, 2026.
Louisiana State Police Troop L responded just after 7:30 a.m. and secured the area while investigators reviewed the events that led to the crash.
Authorities said Warren drove eastbound in a 2007 Chevrolet Impala when the car left the right side of the road, reentered the roadway, and crossed into the opposite lane.
A westbound 2021 Western Star tractor-trailer then struck the right side of the Impala, and both vehicles came to rest in a nearby tree line.
Officials said Warren was not wearing a seatbelt and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The tractor-trailer driver wore proper restraints and reported no injuries.
Family, friends, and the Franklinton community now mourn Warren’s sudden passing as officials continue their review.
