Darius Alisauskas passed away unexpectedly, bringing immense sorrow to his family, friends, and all who knew him.
Known as a reserved yet caring individual, Darius had a remarkable ability to listen and love, leaving a lasting impact on those around him.
Eglė Sedleckiene, a close colleague of Žydrė Zalaite, shared the profound grief of Darius’s loved ones, noting that "Life is like a train, moving along different paths… at one station, Žydrė met Darius… Sadly, neither of them could have imagined that their shared path would end at such a painful turn."
Friends and family expressed deep condolences online, with messages highlighting the void left by his passing and offering prayers for his loved ones.
A fundraising campaign was established to help bring Darius home and ensure he receives a dignified farewell in Lithuania. The farewell service is scheduled for April 1st, 2026, from 12:00 to 15:00 at Heartfelt Funeral Directors, 271 High Road, London, IG8 9EG.
