Dallin Mangelson, 24, Remembered After Car Accident as Family Fundraiser Supports Transport, Medical Expenses, Burial Plot, and Mortuary Services

Dallin Mangelson, who had just turned 24, died after a car accident in Utah while preparing to run the Shiprock Marathon.

Dallin was the youngest of five siblings, worked as a welder, and brought warmth, joy, and happiness to family and friends.

Dallin enjoyed boxing and running, and many friends became like family through shared care and close connection.

On Saturday, May 2, 2026, Meleah Holiday created a fundraiser for Michelle Mangelson to help honor Dallin’s memory.

The fundraiser had raised $3,290 toward a $5,500 goal through 28 donations at the time of the post.

The family said support would help with transport from Utah to New Mexico, medical expenses from life-saving efforts, a burial plot, and mortuary services.

Details about memorial services, an obituary, and funeral arrangements will be announced later by family members.
